How can I become a VIP?
We work with a number of payment providers so that you can finalize your VIP membership as easily as possible.
In the LOVOO app you can choose between the following payment providers.

You have the following options on the LOVOO website.
Please note that all purchases involve a subscription.
Usually, the aforementioned providers to not permit finalizing a subscription without your bank account or credit being linked to the account in question. Thus, you cannot pay for a VIP membership with credit debited from prepaid cards.
We currently do not offer payment via conventional wire transfer or direct debit.
Please make sure that the email address saved with the payment provider is identical to your email address registered with LOVOO. Otherwise, issues may occur with the allocation of your payment and the intended profile.
A VIP membership is bound to the profile with which it was activated and can therefore not be transferred to other profiles. So please do not forget to terminate a running membership with your payment provider before you delete your profile.
NOTE Deleting a LOVOO profile does not automatically bring about the termination of an existing subscription.
In some circumstances, there is the option of paying for LOVOO purchases by means of a cell phone bill. Subscriptions that are debited with a cell phone bill are usually linked to Google Play (we refer you to wallet.google.com for termination).
As network operators list different terms and conditions, we kindly ask that you contact your network operator in advance to find out whether this service will be offered to you.
LOVOO invitation codes are special voucher codes in the form "xxx-xxxx-xxx" that can be assigned in certain special offers and only redeemed on the LOVOO app.
Open your profile settings to redeem an invitation code. You will find the item "Redeem voucher code" at the top. Enter your personal code there and click on "Check" and then "Redeem now". Please note that it may be necessary to restart your app so that all changes can take effect correctly.
Taking up a VIP subscription offers you a great many benefits in comparison to a free basic profile. VIP status allows you to enjoy the following features:
When you activate the profile highlighter, a gold frame will appear around your profile photo. This way, you can increase your popularity and receive more messages. Naturally, you can also deactivate this feature.
Total Match fun
No longer a daily play limit! As a LOVOO VIP, you can play Match everyday without restriction and find more people to click with.
Make yourself invisible! When you activate ghost mode, you will be able to browse profiles unnoticed and will not be displayed as a profile visitor.
Free top chat
With the top chat function, your messages always go to the top of full inboxes and will not be overlooked.
Have you used up your daily chat requests? As a VIP member you have the exclusive opportunity to buy a chat booster, with which you can send an unlimited number of requests for one day.
Automatic profile revealing
No more credits for the revealing of profiles! You will now immediately be able to see who visited your profile.
You will not be charged for this special offer developed between LOVOO and Amazon Underground.
The only restriction for the use of Amazon Underground VIP is that this offer can only be obtained in connection with an Android end device via the corresponding LOVOO Amazon Underground app. The VIP status is only active in the app. However, is the profile is accessed via the website, it will be shown as a normal account without VIP benefits.
As this special form of the VIP status does not result in any costs, it does not need to be formally terminated.
When you sign up for a subscription, it will extend automatically by the same amount of time as long as you do not cancel it with the payment provider at least 24 hours before expiry.
The entire amount for the debited period is always charged by your payment provider at the start of the period in question
In principle, LOVOO cannot terminate your subscription for you. When you conclude a membership, there is a binding contract between you and the chosen payment provider. LOVOO therefore does not have the legal authorization to terminate the contract on your behalf.
Do you want to terminate the automatic extension of your membership or do you intend to delete your account and do you have an active VIP membership still running? Then you will need to terminate it with the payment provider with which you concluded it.
NOTE: The deletion of a LOVOO profile does not automatically lead to the termination of an existing subscription!
Once membership has been terminated, your profile will remain VIP until the period that was paid for in advance has expired. Then the profile will simply be switched to a normal profile.
You can terminate your subscription as follows:
- Google Play:
You can terminate the automatic extension up to 24 hours before the expiry of your VIP membership. You can find instructions on this here.
If you are not able to terminate your subscription, please contact wallet.google.com. You can view and manage all Google memberships there.
If you have paid via cell phone invoice, please contact wallet.google.com directly.
Here you can find instructions on how to deactivate the automatic extension.
If you have concluded a VIP membership via PayPal, you can cancel the automatic subscription extension directly in your PayPal account:
1) Log into your account via www.paypal.co.uk.
2) Select the option "Display all transactions" within "Overview".
3) Look for a LOVOO transaction and click on "Details".
4) Click on the link "Display direct debit agreement" at the top.
5) Select the "Cancel" option to terminate the automatic extension and confirm the cancellation of the subscription in the following dialogue.
The successful cancellation will then be confirmed by PayPal.
In order to do so, click on the settings icon and then on VIP at the top of your account on the website. In the next window you will find a button to deactivate your membership.
In this case you do not need to terminate your membership. It automatically expires following the period selected by you and is not renewed.
You can view your payments at any time via your account on paymentwall:
In accordance with current regulations, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days. If you wish to exercise this right or cancel a multiple or incorrect debiting, please proceed as described below depending on your payment provider.
Purchase via Google Play, Paymentwall, PayPal
In this case, please contact our support team with the following information:
- Email address with which you are registered at LOVOO
- Date of purchase
- Transaction number
- Email address that you registered with the payment provider (if not identical to your LOVOO email address)
- Proof of the linked or incorrect debiting by LOVOO GmbH (if applicable)
You can find the necessary information on the receipt of your payment provider. As a general rule, you will receive an email confirmation from your payment provider after making a purchase. If you are not able to find this, please log into your account with the chosen payment provider to view the payment receipt in question.
Please note that we cannot process your concern without this information.
Purchase on iTunes
In principle, LOVOO cannot terminate your subscription for you. When you conclude a membership, there is a binding contract between you and iTunes. LOVOO therefore does not have the legal authorization to terminate the contract on your behalf.
We kindly ask you to contact the Apple iTunes support directly for cancelation.

VIP has not yet been activated
Was your membership not immediately activated on your profile following successful purchase? Don't panic! It may be due to a delayed transmission of the purchase information by the selection payment provider. For this reason, we kindly ask for your patience.
Occasionally, it is also necessary to first log out and then in again before the VIP membership is shown on your profile.
If, after some time and logging in again, there has still been no change, please contact us and describe the problem as accurately as possible. As a general rule, you will receive an email confirmation from your payment provider after making a purchase. If you are not able to find this, please log into your account with the chosen payment provider to view the payment receipt in question. In order to keep the processing time for your concern as short as possible, please add a screen shot of the payment receipt to your query on which the following information is visible:
- Your email address with which you are registered at LOVOO
- Date of purchase
- Transaction number
- Email address which you used to register with your payment provider, if it is not identical to the one you registered with at LOVOO.
