Imagine you are walking through the city and feel that you would rather spend the day as a couple. Now take a look at the neighborhood list and discover who is currently in your area - and perhaps would like to meet up with you for a coffee.

In the area list, as in Match, you will see members who match your search settings and whose search settings match your profile. The members are displayed in a list and are sorted according to their distance from your current location. You can visit the profiles of the people displayed there, give them a Like or send them an Icebreaker and get in touch with them directly.

You can find the surroundings list by tapping on the surroundings tab (circle symbol in the bottom left-hand corner). The Date Map will open and a section of the surroundings list will appear at the bottom of the screen. Swipe the surroundings list upwards with one finger to open it. The further you scroll down the list of surroundings, the further away the displayed profiles are from your current location.
