Moderators keep an eye on all comments for you and remove disruptive viewers—so you can focus entirely on streaming.

Important when choosing your moderators:

• Choose people you have been in contact with often and whom you trust.
• Set clear rules for your moderators so they do not remove the wrong viewers.
• Allow critical questions and comments; your stream thrives on them too.
• Do not appoint too many moderators; instead, choose two or three you can rely on completely. 
• Important: The moderators you appoint retain their role not just for one, but for all of your streams—until you revoke their permissions. So think carefully about who you grant this “superpower” to.

How to appoint moderators:

• Within your own stream, click on the name of your chosen helper.
• Then click the three dots in the top right corner.
• Select "Add as moderator" and you're done.

Removing moderators:

If you want to remove moderators from their role, you will also find the option to do so here. You can recognize appointed moderators by the shield icon and their red username.
